Issues with the directory and contact files

Hi,

There are some problems I am experiencing with my directory and contact files. I was not able to access and open the documents listed down in my directory and cannot also be able to read the file. My directory file and operating system display a prompt error message saying the files and documents do not exist in my computer. How does that happen? Please advice.

Hi Rosette,

There are possible reasons why you get this error. Here are the common reason why is this happening. First, you are trying to open a file or application that does not exist or you have deleted or moved. You open it using a removable media device and the file is not recognizable. 

 

Make sure the file name and  the directory of your file is correct. If your application is on a removable media device, replace it and try to open the file again. And another possible reason is that your files are corrupted and infected by a virus or malware, so try to use anti-virus or anti-malware applications to scan your files or folders to make sure it is not infected by a virus or malware that prevents your files in functioning well.
