Issues on downloading software, code LP5

I need help on solving this issue that appears after I have downloaded some software. “Error while unpacking program, code LP5. Please report to author."  Also this, "Download accelerator plus (dap ) could not be loaded press "back" button to continue browsing."

Hi Jennina,

Have you installed the software then received the error? If you have installed the application, you may want to uninstall it and see if you will still get the errors. If it is still giving the error even after removing the software, you can try to do a system restore. You can do that by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Restore > Choose a date prior to the issue.

You can also try to check if the software will work when your Antivirus is disabled. If it is, then its your antivirus giving the application an error. You can just amend the settings of your AV to allow the software.

Here is what you need to do.

Go to the registries: HKLMSoftwareComputer AssociateITMRT, then go to HookExclude subKey, add bit.exe to the list and then reboot it.

This should fix the problem.

If it didn’t fix the problem, here is another option.
