Issues with Enterprise Architect version 7?

Hello Guys!

Has anyone familiar with Enterprise Architect version 7? Have you tried using it? If yes, please tell us the strengths and weaknesses of this application? What are the good features that you wanted most? How is it comparing to other UML tools? What makes the application become one of the most popular UML tools? We would love to hear your sharing and experiences.

Issues with Enterprise Architect version 7?

Hi Amanda,

This program features that makes it different from other UML tools are:

1. extensive UML 2.4 modeling,
2. Test Management integrated: Testpoint management, model based test execution, test case specification and support for NUnit and JUnit,
3. Integrated Requirements Management,
4. Comprehensive “Project Management” support including metrics, project calendar, resources, and tasks
5. documentation options are flexible: RTF and HTML report writers
6. Extensible modeling environment which can host technologies and profiles defined by the user
7. Usability: with Enterprise Architect you can get up easy and quickly running with UML
8. Speed: Enterprise Architect  performers very fast
9. Scalability: Enterprise Architect is able to handle very large models and many simultaneous users without any problems
10. Price: Enterprise Architect is priced to equip an entire team, which makes collaboration and team development profitable

From what I could see I could not find any weaknesses in that software because it covers pretty much everything. It has a vast area of tools which are very useful.

Issues with Enterprise Architect version 7?

    Enterprise Architect 10 is the latest now this is based on the latest UML 2.4. This is a progressive tool that covers all the aspects from initial design down to testing and then alterations. It differs from other UML as this works with UML 2.4. It can have documents written in HTML or RTF, and it supports many languages. It also processed much faster compared to other UML, along with its flexibility it can be cost effective for the whole team. It can help organizations or even individuals to manage very complex data, often for software development, design and deployment which also gives detailed report for business analysis and process modeling.
