Sure, any movie image could be captured in Windows Media Player WMP.
You could use different ways to capture an image and please try below method.

Open WMP and choose ‘Tools’ and then ‘Options’.
Click tab of ‘Performance’ and choose ’Advanced’.
In Video Acceleration Settings, unclick ‘Use Overlays’ and choose ‘Ok’.
Click ‘Apply’, ‘Yes’ and finally Ok.

However due to the code of the movie being played, sometimes this would work and sometimes this would not work, captured image will be either black or blank when you use the print screen button.

Hope this could help.

Hello Harmonroja,

You can capture movies or images on your computer using other software but not windows media player. Windows media player is specifically meant for listening to audio music and watching video clips.

But if your computer is web cam enabled  you can use the web cam to capture movies and images and use other programs to edit them and organize them well. Some webcam applications include youcam and hp webcam.

Once you have captured the videos and images you can use windows movies maker to edit the video clips and organize into a movie. The images you can edit using ms office picture manager or others like paint and quicktime.

Yes, movie images are possible to be captured in Windows Media Player WMP. Please follow these steps. Open WMP. Click ‘Tools’ and ‘Options’.

Choose the tab of ‘Performance’ and then ‘Advanced’. Unclick ‘Use Overlays’.
Finally ‘Ok’
Print Screen Key is now ready to use. The key is located at the right top of most keyboards besides Pause Break and Scroll Lock.

Then capture the screenshot, paste it to any image editing software, e.g. Photoshop/Windows Paint/Photoscape etc.

The image could be edited, framed, cropped and saved.

Hope this will help you.
