Is it possible to connect an external monitor to any laptop?
Yes it is possible to connect a laptop with an external monitor such as CRT, LCD, or LED. You may also connect it with a projector. You may connect the external monitor to the laptop’s 15 pin video connection on the back of the laptop. When you connect your external monitor to the laptop it may automatically switch to the external monitor. If does not so you may be required to press the sequence key to connect the external monitor from the laptop. If your laptop is latest it may have the ability to display on both the external display and it’s own display.Â

Hello James,
For sure you can connect your laptop to an external monitor, just like you can connect it to a projector. Using a Video Graphics cable, connect your laptop and the monitor together. The laptop will detect the monitor as an external projector, just accept the settings and set the screen option such that they are split for you to view the icons on your laptop and the external monitor too. You can also set the settings in that you can view the laptop monitor icons on the external monitor only.
The text on the external monitor may appear too large so you will have to adjust the display settings.
