Is it possible to have two windows active on two different monitors

Hi! I need two windows to be active on two monitors. For example, I play game in my laptop and in the monitor that connected there is a movie going on, so when I try to pause the movie with a mouse the window with game stops being active. So is there any way to prevent it?

Hello,

 

There are various applications (e.g., DisplayFusion, Synergy, UltraMon, MultiMon, and various linux utilities) and tools that allow you to use two independent displays. Many have fairly substantial hardware requirements and have certain bugs, so you need to experiment with many to find one that is suitable for your purposes. You can also use a shell script for this function. You can write one or find one online to use.
