Hi
I will help you with your mac to create an iso. Insert the cd or DVD into the optical drive. Open Disk Utility. The cd will be listed there. Go to File, New, Disk Image From and choose the cd/dvd save it as CD/DVD master format to Desktop. It will be saved in .cdr format. To be able to read it on Mac, we need Terminal. Open terminal and go to Desktop. Then type the following line. Replace file with cd name.
hdiutil makehybrid -iso -joliet -o [file].iso [file].cdr
Thanks guys. ISO image is composed of only one file and therefore it is convenient to manage, save and carry, and for that I needed this. Emil Onoon, you have shared an excellent solution. Your instructions are so easy that everyone can follow them easily. Through your instructions I am now able to create an ISO for Mac. Also thanks for providing me with the command line which I needed.
