Is it possible to use UMove in a remote desktop software?

Hello,

Is it possible to use UMove in a remote desktop software? How do I script UMove so that it will run automatically? I would like to upgrade from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server Release 2 (R2). Is that possible?

Hello Jiim,

It is possible to use UMove in a remote software. It's also possible to upgrade from Windows Server 2003 to Windows Server Release 2 (R2). To run UMove automatically (scripting UMove as a scheduled backup job), the steps are listed in this link:

Is it possible to use UMove in a remote desktop software?

Umove is the only utility software used to move, recover and Clone the Microsoft Active Directory Database for backup or recovery and testing. It is also the utility that run remote desktop software. And it supports Small Business Server, International, Enterprise Edition, Server Core, 64-bit (x64), Windows Server 2000, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2008 and soon Windows Server 2012.
