The 800ccc0d error appears when the user tries to send or receive email messages in Microsoft Outlook. When there is a blockage between the internet and the computer system and the user uses the Outlook service at the same time, then the error code appears. The error message display: “No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it” or “The server could not be found. (Account:account name, POPserver:’mail’, Error Number: 800ccc0d).”
The steps to fix the error code are as follows:
Step 1: Verify the Connection of the internet.
Step 2: Check the Account Login Details.
• Click on Start > Run.
• Type ‘Control Panel’ then press Enter.
• Open the Mail in the Control Panel.
• Click on “Show profiles” in the Mail setup dialog box.
• On the General tab, under ‘When starting Microsoft Office Outlook,’ click prompt for a profile to be used, and then click Add.
• Type a name in the “Profile Name,” then click on OK.
• Click on Add a new e-mail account, and then click on Next in the E-Mail Account option.
• Click on appropriate server, then click on Next.
• Fill in the account information and then click on Next.
• Click Finish and click on OK.
