Is iTunes 12 for Windows is compatible with Windows Vista?

I removed iTunes 11.4 and its components and clearly installed iTunes 12.0.1 following the instructions of Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. Mine is a Vista Home Premium 32-bit SP2 with 3 GB RAM. I get a Data Execution Prevention Notification immediately after closing the iTunes GUI. I tested with all the DEP settings but this seems to be a buffer overflow exception. I request someone to help me in resolving this issue.

Is iTunes 12 for Windows is compatible with Windows Vista?

Yes iTunes 12.0.1 is supported on Windows Vista but it does not support 32 bit Windows Vista. So you have to upgrade it to 64 bit windows vista. Your rest configuration is good enough to run iTunes 12.0.1 smoothly. I think this answer will help you now to run iTunes on your Windows computer.
