ITunes crashes on iPhone 5 when music downloads

I have an iPhone 5 and wanted to use the iTunes app.  The app runs fine when searching, etc.  However, when I go to download, it begins the download but then it crashes and restarts as soon as the download begins.  Why would the app do this?  So far I do not see that I have been charged for any music but sometimes that takes a few days.  Any suggestions on what I can do?

ITunes crashes on iPhone 5 when music downloads

This issue has been observed by many users of the Itunes

Follow the simple steps given below to solve the problem.

• Open iTunes
• Preferences
• Under Parental control, disable access to the iTunes Store, but check the box to allow access to iTunes U.
• click ok

You should be taken directly to iTunes U page.

• Again go back to iTunes preferences
• Uncheck all disable options, to allow access to everything and click ok
• Restart iTunes.
