Hi experts

I keep on getting the following error message:

iTunes was unable to load provider data from Sync Services. Reconnect or try again later

I need your help to solve this.

Please help.

Hi you may want to try this solution for your problem.

First you would need to make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes installed.

This way you know that your device is supported by the new version of iTunes.

Then follow these steps.

(Note: You must have Admin rights on your computer.)

1. If connected, disconnect your device from the computer.

2. Open iTunes and navigate to the EDIT menu.

3. Choose Preferences then click the DEVICE tab.

4. Click the Reset Sync History then reconnect your device.

Hi,

Your problem occurs from using iTunes on Windows. To troubleshoot connecting your iPad, iPod or iPhone, make sure you have access to the administrator account on your computer. 

Do you have the latest version of iTunes? If not get it from here, latest version.

You have to reset your sync history as follows:

  1. Detach any device connected.
  2. Open iTunes.
  3. On the Edit Menu, select Preferences.
  4. Select Devices.
  5. Select Reset Sync History.
  6. Reattach your device.

If this resolve your issue, then do the following to sync your device:

  1. Do the stated steps above to reset sync history.
  2. On the Device tab of iTunes, select Info tab.
  3. Go to Advance section by scrolling down and select Contacts or Calendar under “Replace Information under iPhone/iPad/iPod touch”.
  4. Select apply.

If the issue persists and you know your data are on your device, do the following:

  1. Clear your contact and calendar Outlook data.
  2. In the Device tab of iTunes, select info tab.
  3. Go to Advance section by scrolling down and select Contacts or Calendar under “Replace Information under iPhone/iPad/iPod touch” and make sure contacts and calendar is not selected.
  4. Selectively apply.

Unplug all devices

Unplug all USB devices except for the IOS device, keyboard and mouse. Restart your computer and test.

Check your security software.

Do the updates and reconfiguring. Follow steps in iTunes for Windows Software troubleshooting. If needed, disable and test. If the issue persists, check your security compatibility.

Resolving Windows Sync

Lastly, if the issue persists, create a new user account on Windows to check if the issue is due to account user. Try to sync your device using the new account.
