I am running Windows 7 Ultimate (32-bit) on my laptop and I can’t install iTunes. The error says that the program is an invalid Windows 32-bit application. Is there a particular version of iTunes compatible with my OS?
ITunes won’t install in Windows 7 Ultimate
Hi Edwin
Make sure you downloaded the correct 32-bit version of iTunes installer, not the 64-bit version? To check again download iTunes for 32-bit version in this link https://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and try to install it.
Still has the problem? You can try installing without the windows installer. For this you must have another setup file without the extension .msi otherwise it is not possible. If you managed to install it this way but cannot run the application then try running it in compatibility mode. You can do this by right-clicking and clicking properties, go to Compatibility tab. Click Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows xp in the drop down menu.
