Hi, I think the Java forum software is faster than the PHP powered forum software. Is there any other software that is better than the Java forum software. I kindly ask you to explain me the main advantages of Java forum software than the PHP powered forum software?

Hi Gerardo,

PHP is easy and simple, PHP programmer can configure all web servers for PHP and mysql java programmer may find difficulties in configuring and deploying in a server like Web shear or web logic, nonetheless the tomcat with apache may be simple and easy.

If you want to work in the areas of web development only, and do not want to go for desktop application development, PHP is good for you.

If you do not want to work in the areas of animation of images. PHP is good for you. Java is a broad area to work on; PHP is a area to focus on. Syntax is c like in both.

PHP has no naming conviction and java may have certain naming conventions.

Besides these there may be number of advantages, you will be able know all of them on your own if you will agree to some of the above mentioned advantages.
