Karaoke on Virtual DJ Pro

I was starting the VDJ Pro with Karaoke selected in the effects tabs (using Karaoke Plug-in). Then I got this message:

VirtualDJ:virtualdj_Pro.exe – System Error

The program can’t start because d3dx9_33.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.

Do I need to run DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer to make it work?

I have Windows 7 operating system.

Yes you are correct. You must reinstall direct x to the latest definition file. Yes you also do need to run DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer to do an installation. If you are having problems with a web installer, you can download a full package so that you can have a soft copy of Direct X whenever you need it. Since you are on a Windows 7 platform, I suggest you use the latest DirectX version available, DirectX 11.  Do not worry as it is backwards compatible and will support DirectX10 and below software. If you are still having problems, uninstall VDJ pro first. Reinstall DirectX and install VDJ pro again. Hope this is of help.
