Kaspersky Administration Kit v6 fails to start the program

Hello,

When I attempt to install the Kaspersky Administration Kit v6 on my Windows 2003 Server, I get the following error. I did what the error says and I didn’t get an answer from the Kaspersky Lab. Any solution ? How can I install Kaspersky properly ?

Kaspersky Administration Kit v6 fails to start the program

Hello,

The problem is occurring because the Microsoft SQL “database name” was chosen during the installation wizard is already present inside the system and so showing this error.

In order to fix this issue,

1. Quit the installation wizard.

2. Restart the wizard.

3. Keep on selecting all the same options you chose before until you come to Microsoft SQL Setup.

4. Change the default database name to any unique one, for example, “Kaspersky”.

5. Finish the installation with the new database name “Kaspersky”.

Everything should go fine.
