Kindle previewer error cause of missing table of contents

Hello,

There was nothing wrong with the Table of Contents itself. I’d created one in Microsoft Word and it had been correctly built into my Kindle eBook. It listed all my chapters and when I clicked a chapter entry, it took the reader to that chapter. Now I have this error and can anyone help me please to fix it ?

Kindle previewer error cause of missing table of contents

You can fix the issue easily by the following steps.

• Open SIGIL program.
• Open your file with that program.
• Right click the toc.xhtml page.
• Select "semantic" then "table of contents"
• Now save your file and open it with Kindle previewer.

 

You can fix this issue in another way also.

• Upload your book to  KDP.
• You also would have a mobile file in download previewer.
• It would have a functional "Go To" link for "table of Contents"
• You can insert a "toc" bookmark for table of contents.
