Hey. I have been reading about BSOD for some time now but can’t seem to have found a solution for it. Can you tell me how to troubleshoot HP laptop blue screen of death?

Blue screen of death is an error screen. It is displayed when, due to an error, the OS cannot operate. A hardware or a software issue can cause BSOD and there are several things you can try to troubleshoot blue screen of death.

1. Boot your device in Safe Mode. If it works, then you can restore your system to an earlier restore point, when it did not have the issue. It could have occurred due to a faulty update or an infected installation.

2. Enter BIOS on startup and go the Diagnostics tab. Selective memory and hard drive test to see if that is the problem.

3. Update BIOS and other drivers.

4. If nothing works, you will have to reinstall Windows. Use the retail disc or create a disc by downloading the disc image and burning the ISO to a blank DVD.
