Hello. Surely we’ll help you with this problem. Following are some steps that will help you in handling the protection error 8 in Virtual DJ:
Step 1- Firstly, click the Start Menu -> Control Panel -> System and Security -> Windows Firewall.
Step 2- Now, select Advanced settings to change some options.
Step 3- Then, Windows Firewall with Advanced Security opens -> choose Inbound Rules -> New Rule.
Step 4- Now, In the New Inbound Rule Wizard, perform each step:
– Rule Type -> mark Programs -> Next
– Program -> This path Program -> Browse to select the file containing the installation path of Virtual DJ ->Next
– Action -> Block the connection -> Next
– Profile -> tick 3 categories Domain, Private and Public -> Next
– Name -> rename for New Rule under Name-> Finish
Now, In the Inbound Rules, created Rules will appear
Step 5- Then, after creating a new Inbound Rules, continue to create a new Rules in outbound Rules ->New Rules.
Note: You should set Blocker mode in Action (For both 2 Rules in inbound and outbound rules).
Step 6- After finishing, close the Windows Firewall with Advanced Security.
Hence, try opening a Virtual DJ and mix your music as normal.
