Microsoft Office InfoPath basically provides data collection services, such as form filling servers. It serves a form which is available to the users online, the collected information is then stored in common cloud storage, called SharePoint.

On a creator’s part, you need the Microsoft Office InfoPath to design the form as well as Windows SharePoint 3.0 to store the acquired information. You will have to design a browser-compatible form so the non-InfoPath users can access the form without any issues. To design a browser compatibility form, simply select the template for the same.

On the user’s end, if the user has Microsoft Office InfoPath installed on their system, then they will get an edge over the users without InfoPath.
