Knowing About Update Strategy Informatica

Update strategy is an active transformation. It is used to update, insert and delete records. You can decide what data should be stored in a target table after you design one.

The changes in the rows depends on the design of the target table. The update strategy can be set at two different levels;

1) Session level: – In this level, all rows are treated in the same way or instructions are used for different database operations.

2) Mapping level: – Here, Update strategy is used to flag rows, update and reject.
