LabVIEW 2011 unknown exception error

Hi all

I have just used LabVIEW 2011 to build a NI installer using the installer framework but when I try to execute the installer I built using LabVIEW, I get an error during the initialization phase. The screenshot of the error is attached below:

The message states:

LabVIEW 2011

Unknown exception

If anyone can please shed some light on the issue, I'll be really grateful.

LabVIEW 2011 unknown exception error

Hi Grace,

This error is due to a corrupted cache of Windows Installer on the computer.

These steps will eliminate this error:

1. Get the installer's log. Visit this link for more details.
2. Download and open MSICacheCheck.exe to begin the setup. This software is designed to detect and report broken MSIs in the cache of Windows Installer.
3. Afterwards, send the resulted log files to this email account: [email protected]
