I have a Samsung RV408 Laptop. But the laptop does not display properly. After displaying the BIOS screen, the display is off. I have reinstalled the Windows XP. But the problem is not solved. When I install Windows XP then the display is ok. Please help me.

Hi Sayem,
Correct me if I'm wrong. You said, after you go to the BIOS screen, the display goes off, right? You reinstalled Windows XP but you still had the same problem? And you mentioned again, when you installed Windows XP, the display is OK. So, what's the problem?
You know what, if you're having a problem with the display after going to BIOS, it's usually a problem with the board itself or the built-in video card, not the operating system. But if you meant that, the display from the desktop goes off, then I believe it's a problem with the operating system that you're installing and it would mean that you need to use a different installer.
Hope this helps Sayem. Have a great day.

I think you already solve your own problem by reinstalling the operating system and not just a repaired one but a reformatted installation of the operating system. Your problem might be virus related that it prevents your windows to start normally and forced your computer to shut down or restart. It is a common issue as long as your computer boots up and then restarts then virus really is the problem. I just hoped that you backed up all of your important files before doing it but still if you already done it then there is nothing we could really do about it.
