Laptop’s screen went blank then it won’t boot

Hi there,

I have Acer Aspire which is running on Windows 8.1, the laptop has been running continuously for more than 48 hours when its screen went blank, there is no display at all, I tried switching it off by holding down the power button but nothing happened, the fan was still running, I was forced to remove the battery to shut it off, now it won't boot at all, what is the problem? How do I get it working again?

Hi !

After a long run your laptop has been heated too much. Now the laptops Acer it seems like to have some problems with hardwares. It is a problem with the video or norrhbridge chipset which heats and separates from the motherboard. Is not recommended for you to try to repair it, you'll have to go to an authorized service with your laptop and the warranty certificate if is not expired and they will fix it for you.
