The Xbox 360 controller’s guide button provides new functionalities. The ring of lights surrounding the button is divided into four quadrants which provide different information during gameplay. For example, a quadrant lights up to indicate which part of the screen the player is playing on at a time. It also has features like sending message to a friend, voice chat and customizing sounds.
