I just have a query about vpn windows server 2012 r2. I have no idea regarding vpn configuration in Windows Server 2012 at all.

Can anybody help me with this, please?

Virtual Private Network(VPN) can be present on a Windows Server 2012 R2 by starting the Set up Anywhere Access wizard in run mode and selecting Virtual Private Network option on the below screen.

When you choose to enable VPN using this wizard, then the following roles install on the Essentials Server: Direct Access, Remote Access and VPN (RAS), Domain Restrictions, IIS Management Scripts, Network Policy, and Windows Internal Database.
