I have been getting this error called windows update error code 80070026. As I am new to this kind of issue so please help me. Reply ASAP.

First step in fixing this error would be to try troubleshooting the problem. If this doesn’t work the follow in given steps. Open a new notepad window and type the following comamands

Net stop wuauserv

Net stop crypsyc

Ren %windir%\system32\catroot2.old

Ren%windir%\softwaredistribution sold.old

Net start cryptsyc

Net start wuauserv

Pause

Now save the file and use .bat extension while saving it. Next open the saved file as run as administrator. Processing of DOS window will occurs. Hope this helps.
