Hi. I am not very comfortable with computers and so I am not aware of all the functionalities and file formats. I want to open a GIF file. How to open a GIF file? Please reply ASAP. Thanks in advance.

Learn How To Open A GIF File Using Some Simple Steps

Hi. You can learn how to open a GIF file by selecting a default program to open the file. Click on start go to control panel, click on all control panel items, select the default programs and finally set the associations according to you. Next, scroll down the options and select .gif file from the window of set associations. Then the platform can be changed by selecting the change program option. Select the program which needs to be set as the default program for opening the .gif files. Irfanview can be used as a default program for opening the GIF file as well. You need to click on open with after right-clicking on the file. Next, you need to click on Irfanview from the list available and click on OK. Mark the option for using the same program to open a GIF file always. Next, the settings should be applied.
