Hi. The steps to install e-mail program Windows 7 require you to first click on the start menu. Then, select the set program access and computer default option following which the custom option needs to be expanded in the access and defaults window. Next, choose a default e-mail program and then click on OK.

In Windows XP, click on start and then select the control panel. Next, the programs can be added or removed by selecting the option to set program access and defaults. Then, in the access and defaults window, select the custom button and then select a default -mail program such as Outlook, Eudora and then click on OK.
