I was trying to play a protected video on my pc when I got a message telling there was a configuration error in my system. As a result of which I couldnot play my video.  What am I supposed to do to fix this problem?

Learn to solve windows confirguration error.

To fix configuration errors the following steps can be followed:

Step1: The  system has to be restarted and  windows updates has to be installed in a clean boot state. By clean booting the system is allowed to restart windows using minimal set of drivers and startup programs which eliminates the possibility of getting software conflicts that occur during program installation or system update.

Step2: Windows Update Troubleshooter is made to run.

Note: Any removable devices connected to the pc must be removed or it may cause issues during restart of the system.

Step3: A system restore operation has to be performed now after the restart of the system. For doing this the user has to be logged on to windows with an administrator account.

Step4: A reinstallation operation has to be performed in the system which will restore the current windows installation to the desired version of installation.

Step5: The system is restarted after the installation procedure is finished.
