Lenovo DVD writer software download fails constantly?

Recently I had to clean install windows 7 on my Lenovo due to some virus, since then I’m facing a weird problem. Whenever I try to download DVD writer software from manufacturer site, it stops at 68%. Does someone know the cause of this problem and how to rectify this issue? Any kind of help to resolve issue with Lenovo DVD writer software download will be appreciated.

Hello Jabez,

If you are getting that issue when trying to download the DVD writer software specifically from the manufacturer's site, and you not tried downloading from other sites yet, I will suggest that you try downloading the software from other trusted sites. Some that I will suggest include:

• MajorGeeks
• SoftPedia
• CNET Downloads

These sites offer trusted software and therefore you can try downloading the DVD software from there.

The issue could also as a result of slow internet connection when downloading the software. Make sure that your internet connection speed is strong enough and then retry downloading.
