I bought a used Lenovo Ideapad b560g laptop with Intel Core i5 2.66 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM and Windows 7 installed. Just recently, when I booted up the laptop, all I can see is a white screen. Is the screen damaged or is it a corrupted OS?

Hello Steven,
If the computer shows BIOS and then appears a white screen it is a corrupted OS. Also if your screen was damaged most possible the screen would be black. On the other hand if a white screen appears when on BIOS also, then something got corrupted and it might be either the screen or your graphics card. So, If the computer goes post BIOS then I suggest you do a repair install of the OS as it is most possibly corrupted, else I would suggest you take it to a technical centre.
