With all the special features of this Lenovo beast, the only competition in the market is Samsung Galaxy Note Pro12.2. If a customer buys it directly from Samsun then it will cost $150 more than this Lenovo tablet. There is no projector in Samsung but there a S-Pen in it. Is Lenovo YOGA Tablet 2 Pro better than Samsung Galaxy Note Pro12.2?

I guess there’s no question about it. The Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is more unique than Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 because the Lenovo tablet has a built-in projector capable of projecting a 16:9 image while the Samsung Galaxy Note doesn’t. There is also very little information released about the Lenovo tablet and they said it is planned to be released by the end of October.

So I guess the Lenovo Yoga Tablet 2 Pro is already available in the market today. The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE was announced early this year, January 2014 and released around March. It is also called the Samsung SM-P905. It supports 2G, 3G, and 4G networks and uses a micro-SIM card.

It measures 295.6 x 204 x 8 millimeters and weighs 753 grams. It has a super clear LCD capacitive touchscreen display with 16M colors at 2560 x 1600 pixels screen resolution. It supports multi-touch up to 10 fingers with Samsung TouchWiz UI. It has a microSD card slot which can be expanded up to 64 GB.

It runs on 3 GB RAM with internal storage available in 32 GB and 64 GB. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, and hotspot. It has Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, infrared port, and microUSB 3.0 [MHL TV-out] with USB Host. The primary camera supports 8 megapixels at 3264 x 2448 pixels with LED flash and autofocus.

It features face and smile detection and geo-tagging. It can record video in 1080p at 30 fps. The secondary camera supports 2 megapixels and can record video in 1080p at 30 fps. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, Quad Core 2.3 GHz Krait 400 processor, and Adreno 330 GPU.

It has accelerometer, compass, and gyro sensors. The pre-installed browser supports HTML5. It also supports Java. It runs on a non-removable Li-Ion 9500 mAh battery with talk time up to 10 hours 30 minutes on 2G and 51 hours on 3G. It costs around 670 Euros.
