LG PC Suite Software Stopped Working

I’m having problems with my LG PC Suite IV Software. I was trying to synchronize the contacts between my mobile phone and my PC using this software but when I try to start syncing, I suddenly received an error message stating that “LGUX.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. ”

I have attached the screenshot of the said error for you to easily familiarize my problem. I am very much looking forward on helping me resolve my problem.

LG PC Suite Software Stopped Working

LG does not support any problem outside USA. There are many LG Phones available around the world. Some of them are made with third party contract. These Third party LG phones often have problem synchronizing with LG PC suite. You can try the following suggestions to synchronize the LG phone with the software.

a. You are trying to synchronize the phone with Version IV software. Try collecting the older or more new version of LG PC suit, and then synchronize it with the mobile.

b. If you are using Windows 7 PC, then there may be a compatibility issue. You could try installing the LG suit in Windows XP PC and then try it to synchronize with the mobile.

c. Some Antivirus has flagged the LGUX.exe as potential virus threat. When the LG program starts, the antivirus blokes the LGUX.exe, and the LG suit stops working. You could try a different antivirus, which does not block or delete the LGUX.exe.

LG PC Suite Software Stopped Working

The LG Sync does not offer good support for LG, and therefore as a workaround to that problem you will need to try getting the latest version and see if it will work.

If updating does not work, you will need to try the following workaround:

• On your computer, you will need to export your outlook contacts to CSV format.
• And then on your PC, you will need to go to the browser and import the contacts CSV file into Gmail Contacts (CSV).
• And then you will go to your phone, and there you will set up the 'Accounts & Sync' section on your phone to sync your contacts from Gmail down to your phone.
• And lastly you will do the same for outlook appointments.
