My LG TV model 55LA965W-ZA was working pretty fine, but now, it's having a problem connecting to the wireless network. Will it only work on certain settings? Do I need to replace my router? The router works fine with other devices though. Does upgrading the router's firmware helps?
LG TV cannot connect to the wireless network

Hi!Â
Â
You did not state whether your device was working within the network at first, did you? You only stated the problem in connecting to the wireless network "but now" which led me to think, it was a first time set up; however, I would like to think that it was working fine when it has been connected to the network and that is why you are raising these questions  for clarification. This is where I would like to step in.Â

Will it only work on certain settings? Yes. As I presumed your device was working well at first, so the setting it has must be good. There is a high probability that the connection must be cut off somewhere. It could be the cable itself or the adapter from the cable to the device.Â
Â
Do I need to replace my router? You only replace your router if it is defective. First you need to determine that. But you stated that "The router works fine with other devices though " so it means that it's working fine.

Does upgrading the router's firmware helps? Since your connection was good at first the upgrading is not necessarily the problem. Upgrading normally promotes new features. It is the last option you can explore.

I strongly advise the hiring of the service of a technician.
