Cyril,

If the problem when you are gaming, this is because is more reliable to use a static IP address for it. DHCP is not very good at gaming, is less reliable here and cause a lot of disconnections.

If you are not able to go to internet normally using DHCP, check if the services for DHCP and WIFI are on automatic and running on the services menu.

Also, you should check with your ISP if they use a Dynamic Addressing.

Hope this helps

This error may appear as one of the following messages:

“The connection is limited.”
“Limited or no connectivity: The connection has limited or no connectivity. You might be unable to access the Internet or some network resources.”

I haven’t encountered this yet since I am connected to the internet using a desktop computer via network cable connected to a Wi-Fi router. They say you may encounter this when you are using a laptop. When you see this, it simply means you have no internet connection. Try troubleshooting your connection.

If your computer is connected to a Wi-Fi router via network cable, disconnect the network cable from the network port then plug it back in. Open your web browser then visit a website and then try clicking some links. Verify that your internet connection is working. If this doesn’t help, disconnect the other end of the cable from the router then connect it back.

If this doesn’t work, restart the router. If the router has a power button, press to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about twenty (20) seconds. Press any button on the router to discharge any leftover power or to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on.

Wait until the router is ready then check your connection again. If the problem continues, contact your network provider for assistance.
