I have different viruses in my laptop right now. I want to reformat my OS. Can you give me a link for some protected windows files unprotect system? Thanks!

Hi Jen,

Virus infections are not good, but reformatting your hard drive might be an extreme solution.  You might want to try using the McAfee Stinger tool, found here: https://www.mcafee.com/ca/downloads/free-tools/stinger.aspx

This is not virus protection software, but more of a virus removal tool.

If you do decide to format your hard drive and re-install your OS, you should have the OS installation CD.  If not, if your system came pre-installed, the business you purchased your system from should be able to re-install the OS onto your system.

Before you do anything to your system, you might want to back up your documents, photos, music files etc., just in case.
