Link G4 Firmware updater not a valid win32 application why?

Hello everyone. I tried to run the updater of the firmware, but it would not start. It only says “not a valid Win32 application”.

Why is this happening?

How do we solve this?

C:Link G4FirmwareFirmwareUpdater.exe

There might be several reasons for your error message.

May be the firmware update you downloaded is corrupt or has been malfunctioned.

The firmware update which you are trying to install is not compatible with your operating system.

Check on the internet to download the firmware suitable with your operating system.

You are encountering this error message because you are trying to run an application or software that cannot execute on your OS platform. As said on the first answer, G4 firmware update is for MAC OS. Always check the requirements of the software before downloading and installing.
