Hi there!
I just need to know if it’s possible for me to link my two computers that are located in two different cities. I am hoping that I can so that my  information can be shared between them easily.
I hope you can give me an answer and if possible, options as well.
Thank you.
Linking two computers and sharing information
Hi there,
Yes you can connect two computers from long distance. It is also possible to link your two computers that are located in two different cities for information can be shared between them easily. For this you need to connect those two computers through internet.
The first option is to do this with hamachi. It is more easier than others. Hamachi is the type of VPN. For more information about Hamachi you can visit this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamachi. if you wanted to know more information about VPN then visit this link https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vpn. these will help you to build your network between two computers.

You can have this done by doing a remote desktop connection on both the computers. You can also use screen sharing applications like GoToAssist, but that is fee based though. There are a few free options that you can try, this includes an application called TeamViewer. This allows you to control the other computer from the other and vice versa as long as both computer have access to the other; namely the computer id and the pin/password to connect. Both computers need to have an internet connection and should be turned on for sharing to work, otherwise one computer won’t be able to access the other.

Yes, that’s possible with TeamViewer. You just need to make sure that both computers are connected to the internet and logged in to TeamViewer. If TeamViewer is not running on the other machine, connection is not possible.

For Windows XP Service Pack 3, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008, you can use TeamViewer 3 until TeamViewer 13. For Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012, you can use TeamViewer 7 until TeamViewer 13. For Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2, you can use TeamViewer 9 until TeamViewer 13. For Windows 10 RTM version 1507, you can use TeamViewer 10 until TeamViewer 13.
For Windows 10 version 1607 Anniversary Update, Windows 10 version 1703 Creators Update, and Windows Server 2016, you can use TeamViewer 11 until TeamViewer 13.
