Live Mesh won’t run on windows 7 64bits

Hi folks, please allow me to post here my problem in installing Live Mesh, an error message appeared on my screen and inform me with compatibility issue, see below the screen shot I pasted.

Live Mesh

This product can be installed on US English versions of

Windows XP Service Pace 2 (32-bit) and Vista (32-bit and 64-bit)

This problem started when I shifted to Windows 7 64bit.  Earlier  with Windows Vista 32bits there was no problem.  I also saw somebody using Windows Live Mesh on a Windows 7 64bit, that is why I am thinking why, when I installed it on my Windows 7  64bits it won't work.  

I can't figure out what I missed, or do I need some other files in order for this to run on Windows 7 64bits.  

Please share your thoughts on my issue, thanks.

Live Mesh won’t run on windows 7 64bits

Hi,

Which version of Live Mesh do you use? If you are using an old version Live Mesh version 32 bit, it will not run on Windows 7 64 bits.

Live Mesh 32 bits is not compatible with Windows 7 64 bits.

So, what you can do is to uninstall the old version and install a new one Live Mesh version 64 bit.

If you are using the right version, I would advice to try to reinstall your Windows 7 64 bits and it should work after this.

Live Mesh won’t run on windows 7 64bits

If you see other users using Live Mesh on a Windows 7 operating system then that version of the application supports Windows 7. The copy of Live Mesh that you got is only intended to be installed on Windows XP 32-bit Service Pack 2,

Windows Vista 32-bit, and Windows Vista 64-bit operating systems. This version of Live Mesh that you have doesn’t support Windows 7. You can fix this problem by acquiring the version of Live Mesh that supports Windows 7 64-bit.

If obtaining another copy of Live Mesh that already supports Windows 7 64-bit needs purchasing it, you can decide whether to buy it or just install back your previous operating system that worked with your current version of Live Mesh.
