Local Admin Password Reset Tool Used When Password Is Forgotten.

• Restart your computer.

• Press the F8 key as soon as the Windows logo appears.

• You will be redirected to the Boot menu.

• Go to repair my computer.

• Follow the onscreen instruction till you reach the command prompt.
• To backup the original file type ‘c:windowssystem32sethc.exe c:’
• Then type ‘c:windowssystem32cmd.exe c:windowssystem32sethc.exe’

Restart your PC.

How to reset the password?

• When you get the login screen, press the shift key for 5 times.
• Administrator mode command prompt will be displayed.
• Type

• net user_name geek new_password You have reset the password and now can login with the new one.
