I am writing a program that used .NET 2003 edition, but I cannot locate the source code to start the program or the screen with a selection of configuration program or cancel. I composed it in 2006 and the original group has stopped working with all the computers for more than 3 years and the support is showing that Compact Disc (CD) is blank. Another hard disk crashed few years ago. How can I locate the source code for it? Can anyone help me?
Locating source code for .NET 2003
It seems that all locations where you had saved the backup of the code are having problems and therefore it might be impossible for you to retrieve the codes that you had developed for the project. I will suggest that you try the following and see if it may be of any help:
-
Take the CD that had the program and then try accessing it from another computer apart from the one that you are using. The computer's DVD drive may be having problems and therefore you might be able to access the CD content from another computer.
-
You might also want to try connecting the DVD that had the files and use a file recovery program like RecoverMyFiles and see if you can retrieve the codes.
