Long page article or multipage one: which is better?

What is the optimal page loading speed for any webpage? Is it true that viewers would drop off if an article is too lengthy and stretches over several pages? What is the maximum number of pages that an article should an article stretch to? What is recommended a long page article or a multipage one?

Long page article or multipage one: which is better?

Loading speed plays a great role in SEO. If your website take more time to load then it is a drawback for you because people don't wait for even a 1 minute they switch to next immediate. You page loading speed not more then 5 second.

If you write a long article then it reduce the interest of reader so it must be in short and must be qualitative so it can gain the interest of a reader. 

And if you are going to write multi-page article then don't add more than 3 to 4 pages and always try to leave loops on every page so reader can read your next page with more excitement. This will engage your reader.
