I am reading articles about audiofinder tagging openmeta software or whatever it is, yet it's just a lot that I don't know where to go and what to digest. I went here in the expectation that someone might help me by giving a direct link for a simple explanation about the topic.

Hi Owens. OpenMeta is a technology which has many applications that allows you to read, and or write tags, ratings, etc. to any file. It is used for commercial, open source and in house programs. To understand more about OpenMeta just go to openmeta.googlecode.

Looking for an audiofinder tagging openmeta clarifications

This software has a lot to offer if you are dealing with user define meta data. OpenMeta is a great OS X Cocoa Objective. This allows you and the application you are using to read, write tags, ratings to any file. It will work with 10.5 an 10.6 but lower version wouldn't work. I also have a link for you to read more about the Open Meta and some blogs for it too. This link will give a broad idea on how to use this Open Meta and will evencite some examples of what it can do. There are also some explanations for some further question while using this open meta.
