I'm looking for guidance for the proper firewall configuration on Microsoft Windows 8. I'm trying to find a Microsoft firewall pdf ebook version so I can read it even when I'm on the go.  I have an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite 3G.  Where can I find Microsoft firewall pdf format?  Thanks.

The guidelines for setting up firewalls in win7 and 8 are almost identical I have these two PDF files that will help you a great deal. A firewall can help prevent intruders or malicious software (such as worms) from gaining access to your computer through a network or the Internet. A firewall can also help stop your computer from sending malicious software to other computers.

Here are the procedures:

• Go to start
• Choose control panel
• Go to Windows firewall
• To turn firewall on or off, click the "Turn firewall on or off option"
