Looking for text file split merge utility

Can anyone suggest a simple to use text file split merge utility software?  I need to split some GB .txt files and merge the other MB .csv files.  I need this tool to consume less than 1 MB of memory.  I still use Windows XP 64 bit sp 2.  Thanks.

Looking for text file split merge utility

Solution:

1. You can use HJSplit software. It is Portable and does not need to install. The size is approximately 300KB.

2. You can also use 7-Zip which is a Open source program. It allows you to split and combine files. You can use it via GUI(right click on the file > Split File… > choose size) or From command line.

3. There is another program name Total Commander it also does the same as 7-Zip (Files –>Split Files…)
