Looking for tutorials about making tiny icons sharp

Please help me making tiny icons sharp. I want to use a tiny icon my CD disk I have created but the icon looks blurry. I have seen others good. Can you tell me how they have made their tiny icons sharp?

Hello Kim,

Most important role of icon is user interfaces. But the resources of icon design is not very available. There were only few in depth tutorials or books about this topics. Standard size of icon is 48×48 as well as 32×32, 16×16.
