To change your Lotus Notes password:
When in Lotus Notes, choose the menu options File.
Click Security and then User Security. Enter your Lotus Notes password.
Then click the Security Basics.
Click on the “Change Password” button under the “Your Log On and Password Settings.” Again, enter your Lotus Notes password and your new password in the “Enter new password” field and then enter it again in the “Re-enter new password” field. Remember, passwords are case sensitive and usually have a minimum number of required characters.
Click OK.
Your Lotus Notes password is now successfully changed.
To change your Lotus Notes password in window based PC, just click FILE, SECURITY and then choose USER SECURITY. After that, just click SECURITY BASICS and then click CHANGE PASSWORD.
ENTER NEW PASSWORD and RE-ENTER it in the RE-ENTER NEW PASSWORD field and click OK. Since your password is stored in your notes ID, don't forget to update any back up copies of your notes ID with your new password.
In the other way, to change your Lotus Notes password in Macintosh OS X, just choose NOTES – SECURITY- USER SECURITY.
And then click SECURITY BASICS and then click CHANGE PASSWORD under your LOG-IN and PASSWORD SETTINGS.
In the CHANGE PASSWORD DIALOG BOX, enter a new password, re-enter it and then click OK.
