Low and scratchy volume on an ASUS MeMO Pad 10

Whenever I try and watch videos on my ASUS Memo Pad, the volume is really low and scratchy. I tried using the Audiowizard app that came with it, but it isn´t doing anything. Most worryingly, when I use an AUX cable to plug it into my car stereo or my computer speakers, the volume gets even lower and the scratching increases. I tried playing the same audio files with the same speakers and it worked fine. What is wrong with the MeMO Pad?

Hi Pamela, the volume output for the Memo pad is indeed quite low. Sometimes if you’re near a desk clock, the tick tock of the clock is much more audible than the Memo  pad’s internal speakers. One such remedy is to deactivate the power saver off if you’re on the power saver mode. Asus was already deluged with customer’s complaints concerning this issue but to no resolve. It is nonetheless a good tablet, only this minor technical issue remains unattended.
