LSUpdater could not confirm response

Hello experts,

I’ve bought a used LS-XHL which has no hard disk. I’ve got two HDDs which I want to install in the NAS. Unfortunately updating the firmware with LSUpdater does not succeed. I searched many hours on this website and others but didn’t find a solve for this error. Can anyone help me to fix this error ?

LSUpdater could not confirm response

Hi William,

From the pop-up error itself, it said that you have to turn off the firewall of your computer. Go to the control panel. Then on the search box, type firewall. Click on Windows Firewall. Then on the right side, click Turn Windows Firewall on or off. Then click on the box with turn off the firewall and so on. Then click ok. Your firewall now is turned off. It should be work now.
